Witton Lodge Community Association - Linda Hines
My family and I have lived in Perry Common since 1977. Looking back on it now, it was probably one of the best things that could have happened to me! Like many others, we heard in 1990 that our home was to be demolished and that’s when I became actively involved in the community.
I became a director of Witton Lodge Community Association in 1994 and as my confidence and knowledge grew I joined various partnership working groups looking at ways to tackle issues such as fear of crime, resident engagement, improved service provision, enhancement of Public Open Spaces, and many more.
My over-riding passion is to ensure that the people of Perry Common have a real say in what happens here!
