Aims
The organisations aims are:
- To seek a transformation in the quality of life in Perry Common through working in partnership with those involved in the regeneration
- To enable churches to accomplish their role in this transforming process
Its objectives are:
- To formulate and expand initiatives and projects in accordance with local need
- To widen the scope of the regeneration project towards neighbourhood co-ordination for 2004-2007 and towards neighbourhood management 2007 onwards
- To seek to draw in more partners in this process
- To seek to increase local participation and leadership
- To enable the four local churches to fulfil their responsibility in this transforming process through prayer and action
This will involve the employment and management of staff to co-ordinate such work, and to focus each on employment/training, health, community cohesion and information/advice/support for residents.
